Daily Count is an attractive, simple daily health tool. This app is designed to count up anything that you need to keep track of in your daily health and wellness routine: calories, points, grams of carbs, grams of protein, etc. Daily Count lets you enter a goal or limit and gives you a visual indicator of where you are at based on the items you enter throughout the day. It can also subtract from your daily count such as with calories burned during physical activities. Retrieving your items and totals for entry into any dietary or health system is made easy through the email system on your device. Reset your items at the beginning of each day to get a clean start on your health goals and progress!
Features include:
- Progress Bar on home screen
- Email your list
- Total Used, Total Remaining and Goal on home screen
- Easy to reset items and date
- Tracks items for a single day
- Does NOT require a login to a website
- Does NOT calculate points
- Does NOT have a complicated nutrition lookup function

Points?
Does this work for WeightWatchers? Description says "...calculates points..." then the features say "does NOT calculate points". Which one is it?
simple... maybe too simple
Its pretty, this is true, it does exactly what it says. It relies upon you to come up with your own values for how many calories a food item truly is, which is kind of pointless. Or you can rely on other iphone apps to give you the calorie counts. Thats it, thats all. I guess thats ok for a dollar but I can see a lot of potential for future updates, I just really want them now! I guess Ill try it for a week.
Has a ways to go
The program has nice graphis, dont see how it would calculate points under the current application. Would like to see future versions with a memory to retain category info. For example you eat a hamburger and calculate that it is 300 calories and enter that into the program. The next day comes, you have to purge the previous days data to enter the current day, there is no accumulation for calories one day to the next. If you have a hamburger again, you have to remember what the calories was because the program doesnt. To use this program effectively you need to carry around a notebook to retain what everything is. Would be nice if the program would remember previous entries and allow you to record them again in the future.
Awfull
This is one of the most frustrating apps I have ever used. Too bizarre to perform the simplest function, like change the date and not lose your food items.
Points?
This says it calculates points but I cant figure out how. This app is frustrating!!! Ill stick to Itracker for calculating points!
