Points?

Does this work for WeightWatchers? Description says "...calculates points..." then the features say "does NOT calculate points". Which one is it?

simple... maybe too simple

Its pretty, this is true, it does exactly what it says. It relies upon you to come up with your own values for how many calories a food item truly is, which is kind of pointless. Or you can rely on other iphone apps to give you the calorie counts. Thats it, thats all. I guess thats ok for a dollar but I can see a lot of potential for future updates, I just really want them now! I guess Ill try it for a week.

Has a ways to go

The program has nice graphis, dont see how it would calculate points under the current application. Would like to see future versions with a memory to retain category info. For example you eat a hamburger and calculate that it is 300 calories and enter that into the program. The next day comes, you have to purge the previous days data to enter the current day, there is no accumulation for calories one day to the next. If you have a hamburger again, you have to remember what the calories was because the program doesnt. To use this program effectively you need to carry around a notebook to retain what everything is. Would be nice if the program would remember previous entries and allow you to record them again in the future.

Awfull

This is one of the most frustrating apps I have ever used. Too bizarre to perform the simplest function, like change the date and not lose your food items.

Points?

This says it calculates points but I cant figure out how. This app is frustrating!!! Ill stick to Itracker for calculating points!

Doesnt work

Bought this app and it is just frozen when you open it

Totally broken

There is a box covering everything. I cant use at all and never used once. Waste of a dollar.

WASTE OF 99 CENTS

I wish I threw my money in the street instead of buying this app. I dont know who is writing the positive reviews on this product (the creators?), but it doesnt figure out anything for you, it reminds me if a toy addition/subtraction calculator for a 2 year old. I would throw it away if it was free.

Great App Needs Only One Thing

Please, Please, Please add a feature that allows me to recall foods I have already entered. I dont need all the FDA database to make me happy. However, I would love to be able to quickly pull up a repeat item or meal without having to completely retype it everyday I have Cheerios and a banana for breakfast. Otherwise a great app for tracking calories.

My favorite app!

Worth the buck. I use it everyday. Thanks so much! I would love it if you could add a food database to check the calorie content. It would only need to have basic raw foods like mill, sugar, eggs, yogurt, cheese, nuts, bread, fruits, veggies, grains, etc. No need for name brands or processed sugary crap. If you were to add a database it would be really important to be able to save foods as favorite and add custom foods. Thanks again!

Updated number keypad

I hate that the last update made the easy-to-use phone keypad into the much harder-to-use regular number and punctuation keypad. Please make the next update let the user choose which keypad they like better. Thanks

if they can tell u how much carories ur foods r would be perfect.

Great

But would love to see the remaining calories of the day on the top instead of what has been consumed on top

Cute app...

Thank goodness this app was only $0.99! Although the app is cute and works as described, the description of the app is slightly confusing. I understood I had to enter the foods I eat the first time manually, but discovered that I would have to reenter them again every single day! The first day I spent an enormous time online finding the calorie count for many of the foods I ate. Some were easy as I just looked at the nutrition label, but others took a long time, i.e. coffee w/ sugar-free creamer and milk, an apple, an egg, etc. I wouldnt mind if the program stored these entries, but it doesnt. If you dont reset the foods you eat during the day, they just move onto the new day. Well, I dont eat the same stuff every day! Well, another dollar thrown down the drain... :( PS It would be great if Apple provided some way to test apps for a limited time before forking out the money for useless apps. Can I get a refund?!

Was disappointed...

....I had assumed thered be a food database to provide guidance on calory values etc....not the case...its basically just a pretty spreadsheet - you have to know and enter the nutrional values of all your meal & food items....lack of the food database should be called out clearly in the product description...I know it was just a $1, but still...was disappointed.

Simple

For some one who hates to track this stuff this app makes it easy. I would like to be able to save regular food items I eat or categories such as "lunch" without having to type it everyday. Worth the .99!

Other Diets: Nutirsystem, Jenny Craig, etc.

This is a very helpful application. I have tried all the applications that iPhone offers regarding nutrition and diet plans. All have their pros and cons. I just wish that someone would design an application for the foods I have to eat. I am on Nutrisystem. I am sure that many others would love this too. I know there is an option to add foods. This is very time consuming. There are other diets as well out there, that have a premade menu of foods. Please consider this request.

Is good but could be better!

A good application but a points calculator would be great so I dont have to figure that out in a different application. It would also be nice to be able to store your foods so you do not have to enter them each day.

Easy to use and worth the money

I have wasted lots of money on failed diets. This is simple, to the point. If you been on lots of diets, you dont need to look up calories. This is private, you blow your diet, you can erase it and only you know. It nice, it just a daily calorie counter. I think this will work when Internet is down so that is a big plus!

Beautiful, simple, but email function broken

I thought this app was extremely promising. The UI is sleek and beautiful, the interactions are simple, and it does exactly what I want to do — count calories in and calories out — and nothing more. However, since its set up to be used one day at a time, long-term records are dependent on the email feature. Even after removing and reinstalling it, it crashes every time I try to email myself from the app. This failure makes it unusable for me. Im leaving it on my phone, in the hopes that a future release will repair this issue, because its really fun to use and extremely useful for me.
